Hungary has lifted all epidemiological entry restrictions. This means that, from March 7, 2022, the pre-pandemic situation in tourism will be restored, travellers will be able to enter Hungary freely once again, without restrictions, and they will no longer need a test or vaccination certificate.
Simultaneously, the lifting of the special rules of access for certain services and events means that vaccination certificates are no longer required for entry to indoor congresses or conferences, accommodation establishments, spas ,sporting or cultural events, music and dance festivals, or outdoor events of any kind. Curfews are no longer in place. Shops and service providers are now open as normal. Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory (expect hospitals and medical instituions).
